Educational Scavenger Hunt
Unlock the full potential of Google Forms for education. You may know Forms as a tool to collect information via surveys, but it can be used in a multitude of other ways. Let’s explore its functions as a formative assessment tool and as a way to bring your content alive. We will examine ways to use Forms to create interactive activities that utilize the unique functions of Google Forms. We will look at creating Choose Your Own Adventure style activities and Amazing Race interactive lessons. This session will provide you instruction on the potential of Forms and inspiration to create your own.

Digital Storytelling
Harness the power of technology to create a multitude of audio and video projects. Give students a voice in your classroom, provide alternative methods to demonstrate mastery, and create opportunities for peer evaluation. In this session, we will explore how to create audio-video projects that showcase student learning. Participants will learn a variety of tools to create products of learning and explore tools to create their own products to take back to their classrooms. We will look at the process from creation to award shows and all the steps in between. The use of Flipgrid will be a significant part of the presentation along with Google Apps like: Slides, Forms, Classroom, Docs and more will be infused into this session to produce dynamic learning products. The session will be a show and share with time for participants creating their own products.

Formative Assessment
Participants will explore ideas on how to incorporate more formative assessment activities to help check for student understanding. This is a show and share session where participants will share ideas of how they use assessment tools while having the opportunity to experience a variety tools as if they were students.   We will explore best practices as well as tech tools to assist in the process. Teachers will have opportunities to use Google Forms, Padlet, Flipgrid, Plickers and more.

Using Make a Movie in BrainPop for Elementary
Would you like your students to be able to make a movie with their own voice?  Then this is the program for you! We will demonstrate how to use BrainPop SSO using their writing skills to create a story line and their voices to tell the story.  We will also talk about additional enhancements that BrainPop has to offer.  Make sure to bring your computer!

Explore how one sign-on takes students into a world of continuously updated experiences for collaborative and individual research. Move between resources within articles, link quickly to thousands of global government websites and verified outside resources, pull current magazine articles, go to over 600 world newspapers, and even explore archived historical articles and timelines for comparison to current events. Games and activities allow students to self-direct their learning interests. Behind the Headlines, Pathfinders and Teaching with Documents are unique to our products under "one roof". Flipped Learning
This session will provide resources in how to morph a classroom into a flipped learning situation.  Flipped learning allows teachers to guide students and give them a voice throughout their learning, but at a differentiated pace and level. Attendees will experience resources as a student and have time for exploration of those resources, interactive discussions, and sharing of ideas in how to flip a classroom. The resources may include: Screencastify, WeVideo, VoiceThread and Padlet.

Teaching in a Wireless Classroom
During the 2018-2019 school year, District classrooms were transformed to the wireless workstation. Participants of this session will explore digitally annotating over documents, use of a mobile document camera and white board, as well as hear the success stories of District teachers.  This session will be a combination of demonstration and hands on learning.
